Alerting Limitations

Alerts are subject to the following limitations:

  • Availability — Alerts are available only to companies with an active Premium subscription.
  • Permission restrictions — Users must have the appropriate permissions to create, manage, and view alerts and alert history.
  • Endpoint requirements — An alert must have at least one active notification endpoint to send notifications. Without an endpoint, the alert is recorded only in Alerts History.
  • Configuration sensitivity — The selected target type, parameters, and rule conditions directly affect when and how alerts are triggered. Misconfigured rules may result in missed or unexpected notifications.
  • Alert history retention — Alerts are retained in history until manually removed. There is no automatic cleanup of alert records.
